Dr. Kirsten Thomas graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2000 with a honours degree in Kinesiology and then from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2004 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Thomas has certifications in animal chiropractic, full body ART (Active Release Techniques), functional integrated/contemporary acupuncture, golf fitness, personal training, custom orthotic fitting and custom compression hosiery fitting. She also received her Fellowship and Webster Technique certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the care of pregnant women and children. With her experience and expertise, she provided me with chiropractic and acupuncture that has helped immensely. She is extremely compassionate and caring and will go the extra mile for you: if you want to feel better, go see her, she’s the best!!

Dr. Kirsten is an incredible animal chiropractor! From our very first appointment, she made both me and my dog feel comfortable and at ease. She took the time to thoroughly assess my dog, explain what was going on, and walked me through her approach. Her adjustments are gentle and effective. After just a few visits, I noticed a big improvement in my dog’s mobility and overall comfort. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their dog’s quality of life! Frank

I’m a contractor that has overworked my body over the years. It’s so nice to have finally met a chiropractor who is interested in helping me! So many others give me less than five minutes, crack my back , and send me on my way. Dr. Thomas looks for the root of the problem and focuses on solving the issue. Thank you Dr Kirsten Thomas! I feel so much better after my chiropractic adjustments, and ART and acupuncture on my aching muscles. Then I find out , she also does animal chiropractic treatment dogs! My dog is 16 and has mobility issues. Dr. Thomas worked on her several times and her mobility issues have lessened so much that my girl actually enjoys walking longer! I’m so thankful for the care and attention given to her .

I have been seeing Dr. Kirsten Thomas at in balance chiropractic + acupuncture clinic for chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, ART, and laser for over 20 years. She has helped me with neck, back and knee pain after two car accidents and with shoulder and elbow pain from a tennis injury. Dr. Thomas has even provided animal chiropractic treatment for my dog for a sore back after the car accident. I have received custom made orthotics from her and she gives me lots of great exercises for me to do at home. Dr. Thomas has always spent lots of time listening and treating my concerns and I never feel rushed out the door. I always feel better after seeing her so I would highly recommend Dr. Kirsten Thomas!

Dr. Kirsten is great! We brought our dog in due to possible hip concerns noticed by our groomer. She was thorough, gentle, and identified the problem areas that could cause issues in the future and explained everything along the way. We strongly believe in Chiropractic for ourselves and felt it made sense to get our dog adjusted regularly as well. We’ve noticed improvements in her movement and will continue to take her in for adjustments for maintenance and prevention of future problems. Highly recommend bringing your pets to Dr. Kirsten!
