Zak Hill PT, DPT, CSMT, CSCS obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University. He has worked with a wide variety of patients and clients in his career ranging from general orthopedic problems, pre and post surgical orthopedic patients and also those with a wide variety of back and neck pain. Zak serves as an adjunct faculty member at Rockhurst University where he co-teaches a course in the physical therapy program Manual Therapy for the Lumbar, Thoracic and Cervical Spine. He has the privilege and honor of being an assistant teacher with the International Spine and Pain Institute after achieving his certification as a spinal manipulative therapist (CSMT) in 2008. In addition to teaching he has presented before fellow colleagues on various spinal conditions and has co-authored an article in the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy on Shoulder Impingement.Since our opening in 2012, Hill Pro-Motion Physical Therapy has served the Lee's Summit community and surrounding area with exceptional physical therapy skills and personalized care. The philosophy that Pro-Motion embraces includes both empowering and educating our patients through reducing or eliminating pain, improving strength and coordination, and preventing future injuries. In 2015, we moved into a larger facility and added dedicated staff. The new 5,000 square foot building not only offers a larger clinic space dedicated to wellness, but also houses a private 1,200 square foot space with a custom, in-ground therapeutic pool.
