Kate earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Emory University, is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and specializes in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine with an emphasis on girls sports, figure skating, gymnastics, and dance medicine. Kate is a physical therapist for Team USA Figure Skating, worked at the 2016 World Figure Skating Championships & 2016 Champs Camp, and will travel with Team USA to the Cup of China in Beijing this fall. Kate also spent several years as a physical therapist on traveling Broadway shows, including The Lion King, Wicked, War Horse, and Come Fly Away. Kate is involved in promoting her profession at both state and national levels and educating herself so she can provide the highest quality of therapy.Kate has dreamed of starting her own clinic to specialize in physical therapy for girls. She is thrilled to have made her dreams a reality by founding Girl Fit Physical Therapy in Newton. Through her vast knowledge and undeniable passion of orthopedic & sports PT, she supports girls to follow their dreams too.
