Graduated from The University of Rhode Island in 2003 with his Masters in Physical Therapy. He went on to become a Fellow of Applied Fuunctional Science through the Gray Institute for Functional Transformation in 2008. This comprised of a 9 month study in advanced human biomechanics and application for injury treatment and prevention. He has worked in private practice for 11 years as a therapist and clinic director before deciding to embark on his own to establish Form & Function Physical Therapy. He has worked for 5 years alongside local highschools as a volunteer soccer coach and strength and conditioning advisor. He played soccer throughout his life, taking it as far as tournament play in Europe. His life in sports and love for fitness encouraged him to obtain his certification in Strength and Conditioning in 2002, has attended continuing education courses focusing on foot, shoulder and spine treatment and mechanics, and has been a lecturer for the RI NSCA chapter for 2 years.Owner and Lead therapist Guerrino Boni has been in practice over 11 years, working in outpatient orthopedics. He attained his specialty in functional biomechanics through the Grey Institute in 2008 and is one of a handful of therapists in RI with this specialty. In 2008 he was promoted to Director of an outpatient facility. In 2014 he decided to embark on his own and opened Form & Function Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. Located in North Kingstown off Route 2 right across from the Bait Shop, it is easily accessible and offers convenient early and late hours.
