Dr. Mody is a proud Chicagoan that grew up in Wheaton and attended Glenbard South High School. He went to Illinois Institute of Technology for a B.S. in Computer Science before pursuing a M.D. from Chicago Medical School. The residency match program took him to University of Pittsburgh for a residency in Family Medicine where he also spent extensive time with the UPMC Sports Medicine Center and Physicians and helped take care of athletes from the Steelers, U of Pitt, Pittsburgh Ballet, local HS and colleges. During residency, Dr. Mody spent one month doing a rotation in Sports Medicine at the Australian Institute of Sports. Dr. Mody also spent time in Dallas working with TCU (Texas Christian University) Football and local Dallas HS Football teams. Dr. Mody did a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Connecticut. There he was the physician for all University of Connecticut athletes and some pros. Dr. Mody came back to Chicago and loves his role with patients @ ESMII started ESMI to serve patients better. I want to be different then the big box ortho groups. I want to spend time with my patients, explain the issues at hand and educate them on the treatment plan. I have a family practice background and though I don't do the FP anymore, I love having the relationships with my patients. I did a specialty in Sports Medicine and worked with high level athlets at UCONN and under many orthopedic surgeons and non surgeons to learn. I want to treat all my patients the way I treat my family. All my recommendations are the same that I would give to a family member or a close friend.
