During his search for relief from debilitating back pain, Dr. Mahtaban discovered the holistic paradigm of chiropractic. While receiving chiropractic treatment for his pain, Dr. Mahtaban ultimately gained a deep belief and understanding that one's source of pain may not be one's cause of pain. This realization altered his outlook on healthcare and also led him to full recovery. As a result, Dr. Mahtaban dedicated his life to the profession of chiropractic.Our business got started in 2013, when Dr. Mahtaban fulfilled his studies and satisfied his clinic experience to bring his practice, Elite Chiropractic and Wellness Center to the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles communities. Dr. Mahtaban believes in treating the root of the problem, and not just symptoms. Overcoming his own debilitating injury through use of chiropractic treatment made him a believer in this holistic paradigm.

At Elite Chiropractic and Wellness Center, Dr. Mahtaban believes that muscle imbalances must be assessed and treated in order for a person to achieve an optimal state of wellness. Virtually every type of pain can be attributed to muscular imbalances stemming from weakness, leading to overcompensation by other muscles groups. These dysfunctions ultimately lead to pain. Since Chiropractic is a holistic approach, Dr. Mahtaban examines each patient to figure out the original source of pain. This is determined through neurological tests, orthopedic tests, functional assessment, range of motion tests, muscle/posture evaluations, and, if necessary, advanced imaging studies.
