Elev8 Movement was founded in 2018 by Dr. Steven Baptiste DPT, OCS who specializes in generalized restorative rehabilitation, sports specific performance improvement and wellness care. Dr. Baptiste has made it his mission and focus to improve the health and wellness of the greater Gwinnett County area of Georgia. Dr. Baptiste has a 12 year history of working in the field of physical therapy in a variety of settings while participating in extensive continuing education. Dr. Baptiste is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and holds his Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). Dr. Baptiste has also earned his Functional Movement Systems (FMS) certification, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certification, Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and is trained in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Dr. Baptiste's diversified mastery of Orthopedics, sports medicine and manual therapy.At Elev8 Movement, our mission is to provide a setting for all people dealing with new onset pain or experiencing long-standing pain, the opportunity to progress through their entire continuum of care/needs by providing personalize health and wellness via the utilization of various specialized rehabilitation, restorative and wellness techniques
