David established Transformative Structural Integration to help people bring greater alignment, strength, and presence to their body and their lives. David's passion for this work is fueled by his lifelong love for movement. Through a lifetime practice of surfing, acrobatics and movement exploration with countless injuries, he decided to pursue a career helping others with their recoveries. David's transformative journey took him through debilitating injuries, to a place where he now celebrates his life and honors the gift of a functional body. Because of his experience, he has deep compassion and caring for all of his clients, and takes the time to get to know each individual. He cares deeply about what will best serve them and their body, listening with compassion even when others haven't. It is David's intention to help you better understand your body and your self so that you can stand firm in your strength and embrace the amazing beauty of your life.After graduating from the Institute of Structural Medicine in Twisp, Washington. I opened my Structural Integration practice in New York City. Since my initial training I have expanded the scope of my work through continued training in the osteopathic techniques of Visceral Manipulation and Cranial Sacral Therapy. I am a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a body centered therapy for working with Post Traumatic Stress and shock trauma, and a CoActive Coach. I am grateful to have trained with some of the most brilliant Rolfers, body-centered psychotherapists and movement educators in New York and around the world. I continue to be fascinated by the human body and I am always looking for ways to deepen my understanding of the human experience. I have been in private practice in New York since 2002.
