Dr. Tyler Nelson is currently practicing with his father Dr. Laney Nelson. Dr. Tyler has a masters degree in exercise rehabilitation as well as his doctorate in chiropractic. He currently is an adjunct professor at SLCC teaching human anatomy and work with the BYU athletics department every week. He also manages the Taylorsville high school football team as well as the Momentum climbing gyms youth competitive climbing team.Dr. Laney owned a sports medicine clinic at this location for 25 years prior to him being recruited to open the sports medicine wing of the university of Missouri. Upon leaving for this position the clinic was sold, exchanged hands a few times, and now once again belongs to Dr. Laney Nelson and his son Tyler. They currently are the official BYU Cougars chiropractic physicians.

Our clinic specializes in functional rehabilitation. We utilize the following therapies to manage pain prior to doing rehabilitation on every patient: Acupuncture, class 4 laser therapy, spinal decompression, and chiropractic manipulation We understand and treat every patient as an athlete that needs segmental stabilization at the spinal level. We also have an injection suite in our clinic to help manage cases not responding to conservative therapies. We have a close affiliation with many local medical physicians and know when we need to co-manage your care. We are the official chiropractors for the Brigham Young Universities Athletics department.
