I grew up in Dearborn where I played sports throughout High school and college. I know the importance of chiropractic first hand, I was injured in a boat accident during the summer of 1978. I suffered with pain that following fall and part of the winter and had not stood up straight in almost 6 months; my best friend from childhood had come home on break from Chiropractic College in Georgia. He saw how bad I was and explained how chiropractic could help me (I was a pre med student and skeptical) he took me to his chiropractor and I was pain free and standing up straight in less than a month. After seeing the benefits firsthand, the following Fall I was enrolled in Chiropractic College in Georgia and the rest is history so to speak.Dr Richard Johnson is a Licensed Chiropractic physician that has been has been helping patients with both acute and chronic pain in his West Bloomfield clinic and the surrounding areas for over 20 years. Dr Richard Johnson has treated everyone from children to grandparents as well as student and professional athletes. Dr Johnson uses the "whole person approach" when taking care of patients. This approach to wellness means looking for the underlying cause of any condition (which may or may not be causing the symptoms at the time) and take whatever interventions and lifestyle changes are necessary to optimize your health. Dr Richard Johnson has many techniques and methods at his disposal, from low force techniques to manual adjusting, to help you achieve and maintain optimum health. I work closely with other health care providers in the area and to make sure the patients overall health is priority. .
