Dr. Kate Goforth, PT, DPT, CAPP-OB Kate is a doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in Women's Health. Kate graduated with her Doctorate degree in 2011 from University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Since completing her initial schooling Kate has obtained continuing education certificates in the areas of functional strengthening, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, caring for the pregnant patient, postpartum rehabilitation, and trigger point dry needling. Kate is active in the women's health community and is passionate about providing comprehensive care to women in every stage of their life. Some of the Women's Health conditions that Kate treats regularly include stress and urge incontinence, pubic symphysis pain, sacroiliac dysfunction, diastasis recti, pain with intercourse, nerve entrapment, and more. Kate recently obtained her Certification of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy - Obstetrics; a distinction less than 200 PTs in the country have achieved.Atlas Physical Therapy West Denver, is the fourth and newest Atlas Physical Therapy location. Atlas Physical Therapy opened its first clinic in 2007 in the Congress Park neighborhood and has been growing ever since. Atlas recently purchased "Body in Balance" in West Denver and it is now operating under Atlas ownership and management.

Directed and co-owned by Kate Goforth, the Atlas Physical Therapy - West Denver clinic previously operated under the name Body in Balance and has served this community for over 9 years. The Doctors of Physical Therapy at Atlas are highly skilled and ready to treat you and get you back to doing what you love to do, pain free. Our therapists all live in the area and are a part of the active and outdoor lifestyle of this community. Atlas prides itself on being very involved in the community, including running clubs, crossfit gyms, club sports, and yoga studios in the surrounding neighborhoods. I saw Dr Carlie Hay for PT while recovering from shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum. I dealt with a lot of pain and stiffness during recovery and Dr Hay was very helpful in getting my range of motion and strength back. The entire staff was helpful and friendly.

I had a really awesome PT experience at Atlas. Rachel Peters was my therapist and helped rehab my left knee pain after many months of intense race training. We were able to remedy my daily symptoms and reiintroduce me to running in increments. Rachel is very knowledgable in general and also has experience with rehab and training needed for runners. The environment was comfortable and I felt so much better after going to PT at Atlas with Rachel. She even helped lay out a post PT strengthening plan to work on myself to get me in shape to run my next big race. I would highly recommend Atlas as a physical therapy group and would also highly recommend Rachel

Atlas is truly the best place ever! Carlie and Jake were extremely patient, helpful, and knowledgeable as I recovered from shoulder surgery over the last 6 months. The vibe is in this place is truly unmatched. The perfect place for any Denver local to rehab any injury.
