Jenna Weitzman earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a minor in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She went on to graduate with her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of New England in Portland, ME. After being injured early in her high school career, "banned from impact activity for life", Jenna has spent the last 11 years studying physical therapy, observing different clinicians, and personally rehabilitating herself to return to running. With a focus on holistic health, Jenna is aware of the strong connection between mind, body, and soul. She fell in love with San Francisco during one of her clinical rotations and has relocated to Santa Cruz where she strives to provide quality health care for the residents of this health conscious community.On February 4, 2014, Alliance Physical Therapy opened the door to our first patient. In our first month, we saw 32 patients. Since then, our numbers have increased by over 1100%. As the demand for our services increases, we have hired more staff and continue to train and grow to better serve your needs. Employed clinicians are of the highest caliber with extensive training, motivation, and quality education. While we accept a number of different health insurance plans, our main focus is the Central California Alliance for Health population. This is an underserved community, with limited access to quality health care. It is our mission to bring excellent care to all, period.
