Dr. Mark Schelfhout graduated from Palmer Chiropractic college in 1994 after which he worked as an associate for a chiropractor in Palatine. In 1995 he moved up by Rockford, IL and started his own office. In 2001 Dr. Mark bought a practice in Palatine and moved to this area. In 2008 he moved his office to Arlington Heights. Dr. Mark is certified in Facial Movement Taping and Performance Movement Techniques through RockTape. These have helped not only athletes but patients with sprain/strain injuries, knee problems, shoulders and almost any type of extremity injuries.Dr. Mark Schelfhout graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1994. He has been practicing in the Palatine/Arlington Heights area since 2001.

Our office offers Chiropractic care for all ages from young children to seniors. We have also worked with athletes with various types of injuries over the years helping them recover and train more efficiently to help avoid future injuries. We offer spinal manipulation, physical therapy, nutrition and spinal decompression for bulging, degenerative and herniated discs in the lumbar spine. Spinal decompression is usually done if medication, therapy, injections and manipulation have not worked.

Called in the day after Thanksgiving hoping to be seen within a few days for a neck/back pain that had been going on for a week or so. Surprised that Mark said to come on in! Filled out my forms and he took me right back, gave me the run down on how chiropractic care works as I had never received Chiro care before and then did his magic. I felt immediate relief and was so thankful, I almost cried. I asked him how long he expected until I felt a full recovery and he stated that if it hasn’t subsided by Monday, to come back. I was completely back to normal within 2 days. I will never sit around and wait for the pain to go away on my own again. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the office, Marks professionalism and knowledge and the price. I have been recommending this office to everyone! Highly recommend and thankful to have stumbled onto this practice.
