Dr. Tyler worked as an EMT, CNA and pharmacy technician while working on his first undergraduate degree. This experience gave him a look at health care from a very medical perspective. While acknowledging a need for drugs and medical intervention, Dr. Tyler has found that these extremes are to be used in moderation rather than for the maintenance of health. The title "Doctor" simply denotes "teacher", and this is a role that Dr. Tyler takes seriously. He hosts regular community workshops on important topics to help educate the community on the safety, efficacy and alternatives to various health concerns including ADD/ADHD, ear infection, and pregnancy. He is a member of the International Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Christian Chiropractic Association, Epicenter of Chiropractic, and the National Wellness Foundation.Dr. Tyler entered into private practice in Longmont, CO in July of 2013. The office was completely redesigned following the floods that September and offer ample space to tend to the needs of the community! We enjoyed serving our community from our Sunset office for over 11 years. Then in October of 2024 we moved to a downtown location on 5th Avenue in Longmont.

Dr. Tyler has been amazing throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. Pregnancy always comes with aches and pains and I feel regular chiropractic helped me have a healthy and happy pregnancy and helped my baby be in the proper position for delivery. Dr. Tyler is also great with my baby. You can tell he has a passion for working with babies and handles him with care every time. My baby had a hard time nursing and after seeing Dr. Tyler he would always latch better. Dr. Tyler helps keep both myself and my baby health and happy and we are so thankful for him!

We are so impressed with the work done by Dr. Tyler at Active Family Chiropractic. We brought my son, 7 years old, in because he was experiencing poor sleep. This included night mares, difficulty falling, staying and was starting to affect his emotional well being. However, working with Dr. Tyler has started to make a huge difference. Even with our first visit, my son was able to take a restful nap, and get better sleep that night. I appreciate how Dr. Tyler speaks directly with my son, and engages him in the care. Allowing for any and all questions and never "surprises" his with moves. This level of care and respect for young children allows for a high level of trust between the two of them. We are so happy to be on this health journey with Dr. Tyler and know that through his adjustments, our son, will get better, sleep which will increase his ability to thrive in all areas.

Dr. Tyler’s office is a wonderful practice focused on chiropractic care to improve overall health and wellness. He is extremely knowledgeable working with all ages and truly cares about his patients. From relieving colic symptoms in babies, to soothing ear infections, Dr. Tyler is able to do adjustments to help targeted areas in children. For adults, he adjusts based on your needs and really listens to every patient. Our entire family is much healthier thanks to his office!

Dr. Tyler is a fantastic chiropractor! He has seen me through many different issues with my back & neck- but also issues with feet, wrist, and knee pain. This is a very family friendly office. Tess helps with my kiddos during my adjustment & there are things for my kids to do! They truly care about my care and our entire family. I highly recommend this practice!
