Dr. Shane McCann received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange Florida. Dr. Shane has experience treating athletes and patients of all walks of life and has advanced training in Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, and the Fascial Distortion Model - the gold-standards in soft-tissue assessment and treatment; techniques used in almost all professional sports. He has also completed continuing education in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Postural Restoration Institute, Neurokinetic Therapy, RockTape, chiropractic care for golfers, as well as lumbo-pelvic, thoracic, and cervical mobilization by the Motion Palpation Institute. Prior to Chiropractic school, Dr. Shane attended The University of Delaware where he was the President of the Men's Club Lacrosse Team and earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology.SJSC has been serving the active population of South Jersey and Philadelphia since 2011.
