Ryan, PT, DPT, CMTPT, C-PS, graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from LSUHSC in New Orleans. Ryan has over a decade of experience treating patients in various settings. He is certified to perform the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Asytm Soft Tissue Therapy and is a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist (dry-needling). He is also a Certified Champion Performance Specialist and utilizes this system to assess movement and build performance-based programs for both patients and athletes. Roux Physical Therapy is owned and operated by Kassie and Ryan Roussel, PT, DPT, CMTPT, C-PS. Ryan’s educational background, history in athletics and experience with both inpatients and outpatients, have helped him cultivate a specialized approach to both physical therapy and wellness. Ryan’s passion and expertise and the couple’s drive to help people, were the inspiration behind Roux Physical Therapy. Roux Physical Therapy is located in the historic district of Donaldsonville, LA on Railroad Avenue. Roux Physical Therapy was formerly the Shaheen Department store, which first served residents over a century ago. Today, the same building has been transformed into a modern, industrial-style physical therapy clinic. Our 4,800 square foot facility welcomes patients with a spacious lobby and offers an open-concept gym, recovery area, two private treatment rooms, handicap accessible restrooms and a water bottle filling station.
