Thomas Parkhill, DPT, OCS, CSCS, FMS received his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Montana in Missoula in 2003. He then finished his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at U of M in 2006. Since then Thomas has worked throughout the Western U.S. Positions in CA, CO, WA, ID and MT allowed him to gain significant clinical expertise. For example, Thomas has helped Special Forces soldiers recover from neck and back pain, Junior Olympians recover from ACL tears, retired grandmothers recover from total joint replacements, and All-State athletes get back in the game.
Thomas was the director of a PT clinic in Hamilton for nearly the last four years. His outstanding service to the local community was recently recognized when he was voted the Best PT in The Bitterroot Valley.The story of Precision Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab begins right here in Montana. After graduating from Columbia Falls High School, Thomas attended college in Missoula. In the midst of finishing general education classes he stumbled upon an anatomy and physiology class. He was absolutely enamored with the structure and function of the human body. While attending college, in an unfortunate turn of events, his mother experienced a stroke that placed her in the hospital. This was accompanied by intense rehabilitation. A front row seat witnessing the ability of the brain and body to recover is where Thomas's passion for physical therapy was born. Since then, making this kind of impact in people's lives has been his goal.

No one looks forward to injuries, but with Precision I can honestly say I came out of physical therapy in a better place than I went in. Although a specific injury led me there, the fantastic PTs helped me to build back my confidence, physical acuity, and helped me to recognize the importance of some life changes to ensure reinjury will not occur. EVERY person from the front desk to the owners are great people that are there to help. While, I wish I could speak to each and every PT I worked with, the word limit will not allow! So, a special shoutout to JD for helping me to understand the in and outs of the injury and recovery process, and to Amanda, who was my PT, drill sergeant, weight instructor and trainer! Dr. Tyler listened to me and let me explain what was hurting, along with what my goals looked like once I got back to 100%. He first measured my current range and abilities and designed a treatment plan to gradually increase them, while continuing to monitor progress and results. Progress is measured, not guessed, and treatment continued until I was delighted with my range and abilities.
