Dr. Green has spearheaded the treatment of athletes with chronic pain of the shoulders, spine and lower extremities at NOVA Headache and Chronic Pain Center. He regularly shares his expertise at various locations by invitation often speaking to running associations, weight lifting clubs and retail outlets. Having suffered from shoulder instability himself due to an athletic injury, Dr. Green has been on both sides of the healthcare equation: as a patient and as the physician. Unlike other practitioners, Dr. Green has been where his patient's have been and has returned to full function through his own efforts devising unique protocols along the way. He brings this knowledge as well as a deep personal empathy to his practice for the benefit of his patients.NOVA Headache & Chronic Pain Center was created in response to the changing face of healthcare. As demands for documentation as well as mandatory changes in recording, staffing, record keeping, certification, licensing, HIPPA laws, etc increased, the burdens on the average physician increased to the point where real "doctoring" has had to take a back seat to bureaucracy. Many doctors offices succumbed to this dogma. We chose to go in a different direction. Without eschewing any of the mandates, we scaled our physical footprint down so that we could dedicate our time to quality patient care. Our reputation in the community and direct medical referrals support our decision.
