Dr. Shouka is the team chiropractor for the Los Angeles Sparks since 2009. The LA Sparks were the 2016 WNBA Champions. He graduated with honors from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 1988. He is a published author in the prestigious "Spine" Journal. As a chiropractor in Tustin, he helps local athletes recover from their sports injuries. Dr. Shouka has a 5th degree black belt and has attained a Master Level in the martial art known as Hapkido. He was a water safety instructor and competitive swimmer. He taught swimming at all levels from babies to seniors.Teaching these sports requires a thorough understanding of biomechanics and optimal leverage. This has contributed to the unique treatments developed at ChiroActive Therapy. As a QME Qualified Medical Evaluator Dr. Shouka helps to resolve issues between injured workers and their employers. Dr Shouka is a very experienced chiropractor, physical therapist and acupressurist. I hurt my shoulder due to over practice for about 6 months. I’ve tried massages and other methods but was not able to heal completely. The injury keeps coming back after it got fixed. Dr Shouka is able to diagnose my problem and in one treatment I got my shoulder back with no pain. After 3 treatments, I am able to feel my energy circulation again and I was able to sit in meditation for an hour without being agitated. This I didn’t expect, I later observed that his acupressure actually unblocked a few years worth of toxic energy that obstruct my meridians. I’m very grateful for dr Shouka’s dedication to his practice. I also brought my 79 years old mom in for his to treat. So far she has lots of improvements and some of her long time pain is reducing. She’s able to walk for 15 minutes without complaining of pain. Looking forward to be healed completely so I can continue with my daily practices and to the day when my mom can do her 1 hour walking excercise again 🙏🙏🙏
