Dr. Steven Scott Matz

“Lifegiving” is the term I would use for my Matz Chiropractic experiences. After overdoing it in 2019 resulting in a trapped nerve in my shoulder, Dr. Scott Jr got me back into shape in just a couple of months, resuming all of my usual activities with no limitations. Recently, I pinched a nerve in my cervical spine - it was the most severe pain in my life. I could barely move without triggering a lightening bolt of pain down my left arm. After a few days, I couldn’t bear it any longer. I called Matz and they got me in the same day. I walked in hunched over, clutching my arm, writhing in pain. Dr Scott Jr assessed me and explained that my condition was severe and could take 2-3 weeks of adjustments before I would feel better. He did an adjustment and in 36 hours, nearly all of my pain was gone. I have residual numbness and tingling that is slowly improving but otherwise, I have my life back again. I also sought traditional western medical care. An MRI and X-ray confirms the seriousness of my degenerative disk disease, arthritis and spinal stenosis. Luckily, surgery wasn’t recommended but neither was any other treatment. I shudder to think of the suffering I would have endured if I had simply waited for my condition to improve without treatment. Matz Chiropractic is a welcoming and healing experience from entry to exit. The front desk staff are just the nicest as is Dr. Scott Jr himself. I don’t need to learn this lesson again - I am going to continue with Matz Chiropractic to keep my compromised spine in the best shape possible and enjoy my life to the fullest.

I visited Matz Chiropractic based on a referral from another doctor. My husband was with me. I saw Dr. Paul and we were extremely impressed with both the technology and Dr. Paul's obvious expertise in upper cervical issues. I would highly recommend Matz Chiropractic.

Dr Paul is great. Helped my daughter through an xc overuse injury. He also saw a fracture on my other daughter’s x ray and did not treat her. Instead he had us set up an appointment with the ortho, where they confirmed the fracture. He has also helped me with an old injury that needs a tune up every so often. Downstairs with the PT Dr Logan is also amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable and designed a program to keep me health!
