Dr. Joe is originally from Springfield, Illinois. He was a dual collegiate athlete, in soccer and tennis at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, where he also obtained a Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Dr. Kula speaks conversational Spanish. Dr. Katie is originally from Hermann, Missouri. She studied Sports Medicine and Athletic Training at Missouri State University and is a Certified Athletic Trainer. She graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri and specialized in pregnancy, pediatric and nutrition. Both doctors have been working in a premier chiropractic sports rehab clinic in the Seattle area for the past four years, and have the distinction of being Certified Chiropractic Sports Physicians, with specialized skills in sports and spine injury rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy, and nutrition.Dr. Joe & Dr. Katie Kula started Kula Chiropractic Sports and Wellness Center in 2015. Kula has many different meanings, including "community" in Sanskrit, and "open field of learning" in Hawaiian. We strive to empower our patients so they can live a healthy and active lifestyle.
