Dr. Kirsten Thomas graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2000 with a honours degree in Kinesiology and then from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2004 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Thomas has certifications in animal chiropractic, full body ART (Active Release Techniques), functional integrated/contemporary acupuncture, golf fitness, personal training, custom orthotic fitting and custom compression hosiery fitting. She also received her Fellowship and Webster Technique certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the care of pregnant women and children. Dr. Thomas has taken many additional courses in cranial adjusting, exercise rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy and custom made orthotics.in balance chiropractic + acupuncture clinic offers exceptional chiropractic, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy and personalized exercise rehabilitation in a welcoming, family-oriented setting. I’ve been a patient of hers for over a year and thanks to her, my constant neck pain has reduced tremendously. I’m quite grateful that our paths have crossed and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to start chiropractic treatment. P.s. Her receptionists are lovely - they are very helpful and welcoming. Dr. Thomas is also always on time and organized, which is a nice bonus for someone who has a busy schedule. And her clinic is an inviting, cleanly and comfortable space. Truly a gem! 👌🏽

I've been a patient of in-balance since 2008. Dr. Kirsten is truly one of the best health care providers I have had the pleasure of seeing. She treated me when I experienced a very difficult battle with sciatica. Kirsten's treatment plan brought me back and I make every effort to return to her for regular maintenance. Kirsten has also treated my Shi-tzu Parker and has been equally wonderful to him. Recently, Parker started limping on his front left leg and after just one treatment, he's walking comfortably again.

Dr. Kirsten has been nothing short of wonderful with my dog, Louie. She is gentle and a true animal person. Louie runs to the door of her office every single time and he is so excited to see her for his pets (adjustments). Louie has shown great improvement over the visits and we are confident bringing him to see Dr. Kirsten will help with future hip issues.
