Janell is Physical Therapist with a passion for thinking outside of the box and providing care that best serves each specific client and family. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Specialist and has experience in school-based pediatric PT, outpatient therapy for both adults and children, and sport-specific training.
She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011 from the University of Hartford and her Bachelors in Exercise Science- Human Performance from Southern CT State University in 2008.Crescent Moon Care launched in May of 2021! We wanted to create a place where all Physical Therapy sessions could truly be 1:1 with no overlap between patients.

We’ve been with Crescent Moon Care since our child first started PT, and we couldn’t be happier. From day one, everyone made us feel so welcome and truly listened to what he needed. Over time, we’ve seen so much progress in things we weren’t sure he would be able to do, he’s doing now with confidence. The therapists are not only skilled, but they genuinely care, which makes all the difference. He looks forward to his sessions, and we’re so thankful to have found a place that feels like part of our team.
Crescent Moon and Janelle and Alyssa and her team have been amazing!!! They treat our son like he’s their own showing him love, grace, affirmation and determination to help our little guy learn to walk. The skills they have and the techniques they use are incredible and I’ve never seen them before in a physical therapy office. What they do is truly inspiring and encouraging. I without a doubt recommend them to ANY and EVERYONE who needs physical therapy for their children or themselves. If I could give 10 stars I would!
