Dr. Alvord's Journey I always knew I wanted to be a doctor (don't ask me how because I didn't know exactly what that meant at the time), I just didn't know what kind, until my mother went looking for a typing job at a chiropractor's office. It was 1977 and I was 8 years old. None of us knew what chiropractic was, much less how to say the word! I remember when she came home and told my brothers and me, "You kids need to get checked for vertebral subluxations." My first reaction was, "Verta...WHAT???" Then I had this specific thought as a young boy in this society: There's nothing wrong with me, so why do I need to see a doctor, much less a specialist? But it was the very beginning of my journey into understanding this new and special, but very positive thing in my life! He is a local and national Speaker and Educator on Chiropractic. Dr. Alvord received his Chiropractic Philosophy Diplomate and is a lifetime member of the International Chiropractic Association.

We are dedicated to the detection and correction of Vertebral Subluxations. We care about how you feel, however, we do not treat symptoms. In fact, we don't give treatments at all. Our specialty is finding nerve interference (called vertebral subluxations) and removing those, so that you are functioning at 100%. When you are functioning at 100%, your body works better.
