Dr. Alano began his practice in the fall of 1992 as Metacom Chiropractic Centre in the Belltower Plaza. A move to the downtown Bristol 9 years later and the addition of services such as massage, occupational therapy and a second Doctor of Chiropractic, brought a name change to: Coastal Chiropractic Group. Coastal Chiropractic Group remained in downtown Bristol until the summer of 2011 when the opportunity to return to Belltower Plaza presented itself along with the desire to return the practice to its roots. We are once again small single doctor practice focused on meeting the individual need of each and everyone of our existing and new patients. Here you will see Dr. Alano on each visit, not an associate doctor, physicians assistant or nurse. Let us help you regain and maintain your health through very high quality chiropractic care. Dr. Alano was recently named by Rhode Island Monthly Magazine as one of the "Top Chiropractors" in Rhode Island. Since 1992 Dr. Mark V. Alano has treated patients of all ages, from all over New England, utilizing his background in chiropractic pediatrics and orthopedics. He has also successfully treated thousands of headache and migraine patients with an extremely gentle and specific Upper Cervical Care called NUCCA. He also holds a Fellowship in Chiropractic Pediatrics (FICAP), is certified as a Chiropractic Extremity Pracritioner (CCEP), and is a candidate for a Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedic.
