I didn’t know what to expect when coming to Atlas Specific Chiropractic for vertigo symptoms, but I was so glad I did! Dr. Reis was the first doctor who truly listened to my concerns and knew what I was feeling. He put together a solid plan and cared about the progress I made week to week. It’s been a few months since I first started my journey of upper cervical chiropractic care, and I am grateful for the benefits of being a patient at Atlas Specific Chiropractic. I’ve experienced less bouts of vertigo, less headaches, and less head pressure. Before getting adjustments, all of those symptoms impacted my daily life. I am grateful for Dr. Reis working with me to improve my vertigo symptoms and enhance my quality of life. He’s very knowledgeable about this field and knows what to do each time I get adjusted, as well as addressing any setbacks I may have experienced. I have had upper cervical pain and pressure for over 10 years causing mobility issues and pain on my left side of my neck and left shoulder. I saw a few chiropractors with very little change or improvement and even shots at the pain clinic. My neck tends to lock out with typical neck adjustments causing pain and rarely any relief. The atlas adjustments are very low impact but actually effective. I had increased mobility on my first visit and between him and another chiropractor he suggested I have been able to live and move better than I have in a long time. No more nerve pain and constant pressure. It has drastically increased my normal sleeping and it hasn't ever got back to the level of pain and immobility I had a few months ago. My mood and overall health has improved and I felt relief and hopeful finally. When I do get pain now it is easily manageable with stretching, ice or simple over the counter meds. I am extremely happy with my results and wish I would have started sooner. If you have looked a few times and are keeping this as a hopeful option for later like I was get an appointment and get some relief. Don't keep waiting is the best advice I can give. I endured an extra 18 months I didn't have to before finally making an appointment. Waiting so long is my only regret.
