We use a precise, gentle contact on the very first bone of the spine also known as the atlas to correct your misalignment. NUCCA care works by taking four specific and repeatable x-rays of the upper cervical spine and then analyzing these x-rays with specific calculations in order to determine the best angle for an adjustment. Our goal is to align the neural canal (the neck) with the foramen magnum (base of the skull). The brainstem is found in this area and that is why a good correction has such a profound impact on the patient’s overall health.
