So much so, other parts of my body's health systems were starting to break down. I have seen countless doctors and specialists. I have worked through many different healing modalities to no avail. Six years ago I had lower back issues. Dr. Nick and his team got me back on track and I still do not have lower back issues to this day because of their unique treatment protocol. I am now being treated for my neck. Santa Barbara Family Chiropractic is much more than a chiropractic practice. They take a wholistic approach to wellness with coaching on posture, how to eat healthy, homework exercises that really work and a super skilled high energy staff! I love Santa Barbara Family Chiropractic! I have been treated by and worked for many chiropractors and none have put the time, thought, and care into me, my body, and my pain like Dr. Nick and his team. At the beginning of my year of care, Dr. Nick took complete x-rays of my spine with a very thorough intake of each aspect of my health issues and thoroughly explained to me how my spine and health relate while consistently engaging me in the conversation. I had never felt so heard. Dr. Nick is a true problem solver which isn't as common as it should be in healthcare. The entire team is professional, but also so friendly. It's very common to see clients chatting away with the team like old friends. With the addition of personally fitted traction and exercises taught by Noah, this is the most complete and effective treatment I have come across. As a massage therapist, everything they teach and worked on with me made good sense, and I also learned so much. Even though life made my treatment a bit less consistent than I needed and Covid cut our relationship short, not only is my pain significantly less and more manageable, I know what to do to get it back in check. There is finally an answer to the pain and other health issues I have been trying to manage for half my life.
