Archana Rao is a fully qualified Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine and is a licensed California Massage Therapist. She completed her academic studies in 1996 at Gujarat University, in India, where she received her B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree. This course lasted five years and was succeeded by six months of internship. As an integral part of the B.A.M.S degree, Archana completed extensive training in a variety for Ayurveda herbs and therapy techniques, including: Marma Massage PanchaKarma Therapy Shirodhara Indian Head Massage Traditional Abhyanga Bastis Nasya Swedana Archana worked as an Ayurvedic Practitioner in India from 1996 - 1999, in London (U.K) from 2000 - 2004, and has since been an Ayurvedic consultant residing in the Bay Area in California. I am so grateful for Archana and Le Mon for their expertise and care during my treatments. I completed Panchakarma for my debilitating pain from Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. I am now pain free and feel like I have my life back. I went from taking pain meds 2-3 times a day for years to not requiring anything in over 3 weeks! I had severe pain in my neck and tried physiotherapy, acupuncture and chiropractor. The pain used to return after a couple of days. Then I wanted to try Ayurveda and learned about Archana online. That was a good decision I made. She understood the problem and solved the root cause of the problem which was inflammation. I did go through Panchakarma and it was a good experience. My neck pain is now gone and also I feel better overall. Thanks Archana.

My 9-year-old had been struggling with an on-and-off right ankle injury for more than six months. We tried several treatments elsewhere, but nothing gave her lasting relief and everything was only temporary. That changed when we came to Ayutherapy. Their Ayurvedic approach made a real difference. Within just one month, her pain was gone, and with two additional months of continued care, the issue cleared up completely. Treatment involved a combination of Ayurvedic medicines, bandages and massage therapy with herbal oils, which worked beautifully together. Even though some parts of the treatment were tough for a child, Dr. Archana guided her with so much patience and reassurance that she felt confident and willing to continue. What stood out most was Dr. Archana’s ability to truly listen and understand what my daughter was experiencing. Her calm, caring manner and strong Ayurvedic expertise made every appointment feel supportive and meaningful. I’m genuinely thankful we found her. A big thank you as well to our masseuse, Le Mon, who not only provided excellent therapy but also took the time to show me which areas of my daughter's right foot beside her ankle needs my attention and how I could help my her at home for overall wellness. His thoughtful guidance really helped speed up recovery. I wholeheartedly recommend Ayutherapy to anyone dealing with muscle injuries/sprain. We’re truly grateful for the care and long-lasting results we received here!
