I didn't know what an atlas was or that I had an atlas until I met Dr. Mento at Harmony Chiropractic. It is the small bone just under the base of your skull, and it's position affects everything! I have never been a fan of being "cracked" or forcefully manipulated into alignment and this is the opposite of that. With skill, sensitivity and deep understanding of the spine and body, Dr. Mento is able to gently guide the spine and supporting muscles into alignment. My first treatment was mind blowing! It may have been the first time in years that my spinal fluid was free to flow where it was needed! I felt euphoric and clear! I am committed to optimal health, that is truly our great treasure, and after 12 weeks I am so grateful for the many improvements. I have way fewer headaches, hip pain, shoulder and back pain. I actually have improved mood and energy that is sustained and continues to improve. Im 61 years old and wish that I had found this much earlier on.
