Have you ever had a 3 day migraine with a knife like pain that just would not quit stabbing your eyeball? I have, and I was just blessed enough to have Dr. Matt squeeze me into his Friday afternoon schedule and release the multiple trigger points in my upper trapezius that were the root cause of my issue. It was one of those instant relief moments. I cannot believe the difference a few minutes with Dr. Matt can make. I am so grateful to be starting my weekend without the stabbing eye pain. 10/10 for ActiveMed, highly recommend.

R.B. is great and staff is very good. She is respectful, kind, and efficient. She listens to your needs and goes right into the sessions to give you the maximum time. She is knowledgeable. She is also kind. She cares about you. After my sessions, I always feel better in the areas we focused on. I always look forward to my next session.

Dr. Alavi and the rest of the Active Med Team are top notch and I 100% recommend them for any natural treatments. I was battling a very painful shoulder and neck injury, and they significantly reduced the pain and helped me get feeling better fast. I’ve been to numerous other facilities over the past 13 years in San Diego, and I recommend Active Med.

So far so good only one accupuncture treatment to date. Dr Matt Alavi is very professional and caring. Looking forward to hopefully doing the Axon Therapy.

My visit with ActiveMed in Encinitas, CA was an amazing experience from start to finish. I was welcomed right away by the friendly front desk, and even though I knew little about Eastern medicine, I was blown away—my surf injury healed in just a few weeks with acupuncture after months of pain. Danielle referred me, and I’m so glad she did. Matt was incredibly knowledgeable, made me feel completely at ease, and I barely felt a thing (even though I’m terrified of needles!). In addition to ActiveMed having great practitioners, they have amazing support from patient care coordinators as well. I got to know quite a few folks during my visits, special thank you to Brenda, Elan, Kaylin, Britany, Savana, Jackie, Smita and Aarianna!! I even referred my sister who got an amazing lymphatic massage, she’s going back for another soon! Seriously, I can’t recommend ActiveMed enough, definitely check them out!
