Dr. Kris Tosczak's interest in health began while he was a young child growing up in Canada. Always active in sports he was always the first on the scene when someone was injured. He took this interest to the University of Calgary where he studied Exercise Physiology and it was here that he discovered he wanted to be a Chiropractor. He opted for the warm weather of California and attended Southern California University of Health Sciences, graduating Magna Cum Lade with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After graduation Dr. Kris was convinced to stay in the warm weather of Southern California and moved to the San Diego area to open up a practice with Dr. Melissa. He recently became a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Lifestyle Practitioner (C.C.W.P.) and is certified through the ICA Council on Wellness Lifestyle Science.Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Touch of Health Chiropractic: A Creating Wellness Center emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could. This is one of the main reasons for the big surge in the popularity of our chiropractic services. Dr. Kris and Dr. Melissa founded A Touch of Health Chiropractic with a mission to help steer people onto the path of wellness and health that will last their entire lives. They truly care about helping people, and they demonstrate their dedication to the practice, care for others, and enthusiasm for helping every day when they meet with their great patients!
