Dr. Tickel has been living the holistic lifestyle or as he likes to call it, "the art of things natural", his entire life. He was born in the small town of Oswego, IL. About an hour outside of Chicago. Dr. Tickel is paving the way for a new way of thinking in health care. Dr. Tickel is a leader in today's Wellness Revolution. Leading his patients towards optimal health, rather than just disease treatment.After practicing for nearly a decade in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Tickel and his family have moved to Charlottesville, Virginia to be closer to his east coast family.

Through years of study and a lifetime of experience, Dr. Tickel uses a widearray of integrative techniques to help uncover and ease traumas from past experiences that the body is still protecting against. These same techniques are also helpful in relieving the pain and tension that accumulate in the body from job, sports or recreational stress. Carefully selected advanced treatments are used to remove the factors that adversely affect the body's ability to restore and maintain health and long term stability.
Dr. Tickel is a second-generation chiropractor with practical clinical experience. His approach to healing is truly holistic. Utilizing over 30 techniques (Diversified, Thompson, Activator, SOT, NUCCA, Upper Cervical, ART, Graston, Network, NET to name a few) he is able to tailor care to each individual practice member. The goal is to not only get you out of pain, but to maximize performance and energize lives.
