Holds a Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic from Palmer Chiropractic College West (San Jose), a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Mercyhurst College (Pre-Med Program), and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). Since 2001, has been certified in A.R.T. for the spine, and the upper and lower extremities. Dr. Kaufman is a sports & fitness enthusiast, with a passion for health and physical well-being. This is reflected in treatment protocols, which are based on a foundation of spinal and muscular balance, nutrition and exercise. This passion for wellness keeps Dr. Kauffman up to date with health care, as well as state of the art techniques that will enhance the patients' well-being. Combines the most advanced equipment, gentle manipulation, A.R.T soft-tissue therapy, rehabilitation and nutrition to provide you with a powerful solution to your condition. Has had success with local professional and amateur athletes, as well as world-class athletes at the IronMan World ChampionshipWhile being a Doctor of Chiropractor since 2003, Dr. Kauffman took over this practice in January 2011. After spending the first 8 years of his Chiropractic career in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania; where he grew up and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology), Dr. Kauffman and his family moved back to the Bay Area, where he graduated from Palmer West Chiropractic College (in San Jose). Since taking over the practice, the business has flourished ,and now offers Yoga, Acupuncture, and has multiple Massage rooms to compliment the Chiropractic and Wellness center. Dr. Kauffman works with many health care providers (orthopedic, pain management, medical doctors, nutritionists, and other chiropractors) to be sure the patient gets optimal care. The patient is the most important aspect of this business, and is what allows it to THRIVE.
