Chrissy is the fearless leader of the AoH Dream Team and a practitioner of both functional nutrition and massage therapy. In her role as owner/operator, Chrissy is dedicated to supporting her amazing team so they can in turn support the local community. She strives to ensure AoH is a comfortable, inclusive place for healing. Brought into the world of integrative medicine with her own health challenges, as a practitioner, Chrissy is passionate about supporting those living with gut health issues, joint pain and autoimmune conditions. Chrissy holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from George Mason University. She completed her massage & bodywork training at the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Virginia. Chrissy is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and certified by the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists.The Art of Health was formed out of a passion for providing clients with high quality massage therapy services in a safe, comfortable atmosphere. Over the last thirteen years, we have amplified that vision as an integrative group practice comprised of highly skilled massage therapists, nutritionists, and yoga therapists. We each strive to make a positive impact in our community by working to inspire, educate and empower others to live a quality, symptom-free life using the power of food, the healing qualities of touch and guided, mindful movement.
