Cat grew up in San Luis Obispo, CA, and graduated from Cal Poly, SLO, majoring in business with an entrepreneurship concentration. She worked for several local businesses running concerts in SLO, and developing her culinary skills as a pastry chef. To balance her love of sweets, she decided to become a personal trainer. She found great satisfaction in helping others reach their goals as she did her own. Cat earned her MBA in executive leadership from Sonoma State and spent several years in corporate cannabis events and finance operations but did not feel the same satisfaction from working for herself or a small business. Cat and Daniel decided to open Still Life Acupuncture to serve their local community and build a business based on helping others to give our community a better quality of life.Daniel began his career in bodywork in 2010. After seeing his mother's chronic back pain improve from a combination of acupuncture & massage therapy, Daniel decided to expand his knowledge of bodywork and specialized in therapies to reduce pain and discomfort. He obtained his Master's in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College of Berkeley, and is a licensed acupuncturist in Santa Rosa. His specialties include pain reduction, pain management, mental health, and physical wellness. Still Life Acupuncture was inspired by Daniel's mother, Luba Stolper, a world-renowned still life artist…and the fact that patients must stay still during acupuncture treatments!
