Acerca de

Andrea's fascination with how the body works began as a young dancer. Andrea graduated from Scripps College with a double major in Psychology and Dance. Andrea trained in Pilates at Long Beach Dance Conditioning and is nationally certified by the Pilates Method Alliance. She is a certified Reiki I practitioner and uses the energy work when helping clients with chronic pain. Andrea completed a Master's Certification in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis at the University of Utah. Andrea has been working with clients as a Somatic Movement Therapist since 2003, helping people take care of their daily aches and pains. Andrea completed her doctorate in Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. Andrea investigated how Pilates impacts chronic low back pain for her doctoral research. Andrea completed a post-doctoral residency in Orthopedics at Casa Colina. She is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist.
