Jim graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions with Masters and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy and has taken continuing education at The Institute of Physical Art. He has been in practice for over 20 years and opened Soma PT in 2011. Jim is passionate about finding and alleviating the root cause of a patient's pain. His treatment plans often include hands-on manual therapy, education, exercises, compassion and encouragement. Jim is an avid athlete who has completed 4 marathons, 2 half-marathons, many triathlons, and a 478-mile, weeklong bike ride across Iowa.After 17 years of practicing physical therapy for large clinics such as Braintree Rehab and Back On Track PT, Jim decided to open his own clinic where he could practice PT in a very personal and private setting.
