 Dr. Stockwell graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. While attending Palmer, in addition to the standard curriculum, she took several classes that offered specialized techniques such as Activator, Lumbar Flexion Distraction (LFD), Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), NIMMO, Thompson, NUCCA, Pettibon, and Advanced Soft Tissue (AST). AST included instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization which is extremely useful in helping to break up soft tissue adhesion such as scar tissues that inhibit proper healing. Dr. Stockwell is Graston certified. Dr. Stockwell is passionate about helping people achieve their own personal health goals so they can continue doing the things that they love. She helped patients at the Palmer clinic achieve these goals, worked in the community outreach clinics that offer care to people who are experiencing economic challenges, and went to India to provide chiropractic care to individuals with little or no access to health care.Savanna Chiropractic, also previously known as Burkert Chiropractic Center (BCC) from Clinton, Iowa was built by creative and dynamic people whose passion is to help the community achieve their own personal health goals so they can continue doing the things they love to do.
