Dr. Ray Rickards locates the source of nerve interference using objective paraspinal thermography. Dr. Ray uses the Blair upper cervical technique to accurately re-position the atlas vertebra with no cracking or twisting of the neck. Aligning the head and neck can balance the entire spine, but more importantly take nerve pressure off the brainstem and spinal cord to restore optimum brain to body communication, facilitating the body's natural ability to heal and repair. By balancing the spine from the top-down approach, patients typically hold their adjustments longer.I have been a practicing chiropractor in Escondido since 1979. It has been an amazing ride. Coming out of school I used the general "cracking" techniques of chiropractic. It was frustrating for me because patients would not hold their adjustments. After 9 years of this frustration, I began researching more specific spinal corrective techniques that would have my patients hold their adjustment. Fortunately there are superior techniques in chiropractic that are only taught in certain schools. Through years of inquiry and many hours of post graduate study I am presently doing in my opinion the most sophisticated technique in chiropractic.
