I always wanted to help people and have a positive effect on them. Becoming a chiropractor was the obvious choice for me to accomplish this goal since I believe in the body's natural ability to heal itself. This is one of the fundamental principles of chiropractic. Since becoming a chiropractor I have been able to have a positive effect on people's lives. I am now happy to go to work and feel that I help people achieve their personal health goals. I have seen people under my care go from being in so much pain that they could not perform simple tasks to being pain free and enjoying their lives. I focus on restoring the body to function. The body has an innate ability to heal itself. Through chiropractic adjustment, nutritional counseling, and exercise we can enable the body's innate abilities and assist patients in taking control over restoring and maintaining their own health. A healthy body functioning at optimum levels can greatly improve a person's quality of life on into their latRefining Essentials Chiropractic was established in April 2015 in Grapevine Texas. Dr. Cunningham relocated to South Louisiana in June 2016 to be near family. Refining Essentials Chiropractic was then re-established in Mandeville LA, in January 2017.
