Phyllis, the first physical therapist in Alaska to be licensed in ART® , Active Release Technique, is dedicated to providing individualized patient care based on the treatment principles of Alignment, Stabilization and Movement. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy and Fort Lewis College, Colorado, with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, she has continued to study soft tissue therapies and therapeutic yoga for many years.With more than 30 years combined experience, Progressive health care providers develop integrated and personalized programs for each patient. We were the first physical therapy clinic to utilize Active Release Therapy and have the most experienced Active Release Therapist in Anchorage. Progressive Physical Therapy focuses on a broad range of advanced physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques including Pilates, TRX, movement therapy and posture exercises, to get patients on the road to recovery. Progressive provides targeted treatment and effective rehabilitation services to patients suffering a variety of conditions including scoliosis, sciatica nerve pain, muscle strains and pulls, tendinitis, and more.
