Growing up in West Central Pennsylvania, Dr. Read attended Penn State University and IUP before completing his chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. He has lived in Jacksonville since graduating from Palmer. He is the father of twins and spends his free time camping and riding motorcycles.After practicing on Jacksonville's Northside for almost 10 years. Dr. Steven Read opened Ortega Chiropractic Clinic near NAS Jax. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic (the world's oldest and most prestigious chiropractic College) Dr. Read has has called Jacksonville his home since 1987. He has had the privilege of helping thousands of people over the years. In 2011 we became the first clinic in Jacksonville to feature Chiropractors, Board Certified Emergency Medical Physician, Osteopathic Physician, Licensed Massage Therapists and a Neuropsychologist in the same facility.
