Dr. Kasten received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Illinois, and holds a BS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin - Go Badgers! She is trained in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, which is the most researched and validated assessment and treatment for spinal conditions. She also has extensive training in functional rehabilitation. Dr. Kasten is dedicated to women’s health, and she has a passion for working with expectant and new mothers. She is certified in Webster Technique, a specialized protocol for easing the birthing process. In 2018, Maggie and her husband Sean moved back home to the Milwaukee area to start their family. Since Layla and Lucille have joined, there has been so much love and so little sleep! In their limited free time, the Kastens are die hard Wisconsin sports fans, avid concert goers, and enjoy local craft breweries and the Milwaukee food scene. Dr. Maggie Kasten opened Modern Physical Medicine in the fall of 2021, serving the Milwaukee community in which she grew up.
