Dr. Martins is a native of the East Bay and graduate of Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA where she was bestowed the title of "Honors Intern" for her excellence in patient care. Prior to graduate school, Dr. Martins obtained a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Sonoma State University. She began practicing as an Exam Doctor after graduating at in San Carlos after which she began treating her patients in San Leandro. Dr. Martins takes prid in providing exceptional care for patients and donating resources to the local community thru health talks, fund-raising donations and much more.Dr. Martins moved Martins Chiropractic to Castro Valley in January of 2011 where she began seeing local residents as well as those in neighboring areas. Many patients who come to Martins Chiropractic are seeking wellness care, but there are also patients who come to the office in pain and looking for not only relief, but answers to what is causing their pain. Dr. Martins provides her patients with specific answers to their health concerns and very thorough chiropractic care. Martins Chiropractic is conveniently located in Castro Valley directly off of Highway 580 and next to the Castro Valley BART Station.

Dr. Martins currently practices in Castro Valley where she helps patients of all ages and walks of life. From newborns to retirees, business professionals to stay at home parents, athletes, etc. Dr. Martins assists them to achieve better health and wellness.In order for one's body to function properly there needs to be clear communication between your central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord) and the rest of your body. Dr. Martins uses a modern, gentle and effective chiropractic technique called Activator Methods which eliminates the need for any cracking, popping or twisting that often makes patients uncomfortable. The use of this method allows Dr. Martins to detect and correct misalignments in the joints of the spine as well as the rest of the body. Any misalignment in the joints can cause interference in the body's communication. When there is a deficiency in this vital communication, the body is unable to function optimally and one's health and wellness can be impaired. This year we are excited to introduce Laser Therapy to the practice! In addition to our standard therapies adjunctive to chiropractic care we now offer patients the latest in laser technology. This FDA approved therapy helps with chronic neck & shoulder pain, chronic foot pain/plantar fasciitis & post operative pain.
