Acerca de

Dr. Loren Kimble is a San Francisco native who earned his Bachelor's degree at Humboldt State. Following undergraduate schooling he discovered his natural talent as a massage therapist, obtaining certifications in Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, shiatsu and reiki. With a brief stint as a fitness trainer, he was able to blend soft tissue work with exercise to demonstrate improved flexibility and muscle function. In 2009 he graduated with his Doctorate in physical therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, where he developed his skills as a movement-based specialist. As such, Loren helps to relieve pain by combining movement analysis with manual therapy and corrective exercises to address inefficiencies in movement with the ultimate goal of returning desired functional and activity levels. .

We can help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility - in many cases without expensive surgery and often reducing the need for long-term use of prescription medications and their side effects. With an increased emphasis toward one-on-one patient to therapist interaction, our goal is to improve patient understanding of the factors affecting your pain, thus allowing you to return to your daily functional and extra-curricular activities with minimal to no pain and increased confidence. We have found that when patients understand the basis for their pain and dysfunction and the rationale for the exercises prescribed, they become more actively engaged in their healing process enabling us to achieve more rapid progress toward their goals.
