Acerca de

Born and raised in the Chicago area, Dr. Mackey received her bachelors degree from Northwestern University and obtained her medical training at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in San Francisco. She completed a three year residency at the University of Nevada in the Reno-Tahoe area where, as the only practicing osteopath in the area, she was responsible for starting a successful osteopathic manipulation clinic. Prior to medical school Dr. Mackey was a Division I scholarship athlete and a sponsored competitive snowboarder. She continues to cultivate an active life rock climbing, surfing, skateboarding, and singing in a band. She has also been practicing and teaching yoga and meditation in various traditions for over 10 years as a certified Hatha yoga instructor.
