Dr. Vaughn moved to the Kennewick from western Washington in 2013. Prior to moving he practiced in the Olympia area for 5 years. He has been in practice in Kennewick since 2013. Dr. Vaughn has an evidence based approach to care, often working with other medical providers to provide the best care for the patient. His patient focused approach has yielded great results over the years. Dr. Vaughn has been married for 15 years and has 4 children. They love to spend quality time outdoors and in the water. They love traveling to visit family back home in Hawaii where his wife is from. He also volunteers his time with youth in the community on a weekly basis. Dr. Vaughn attended Brigham Young University Hawaii and then attended the University of Western States for his professional training. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2008. Member of The American Institute of Personal Injury Physicians (AIPIP).Dr. Vaughn began practicing chiropractic care in 2008. In 2018 he opened a new practice focused on injury care. There is a large need for this in our area. Why? Most chiropractors treat symptoms with little thought on proper paperwork. As people get injured in auto or work-related accidents most doctors do paperwork like they would for any other patient. BUT, for auto accidents things must be done differently. Law firms who represent auto accident victims, for example, need all paperwork done in a specific way to get maximum benefits from the insurance companies. As Dr. Vaughn saw this need, he adapted his practice specifically for injuries and accidents; both as a practice of documentation and healing. He has really focused his continued education towards treating whiplash and other soft tissue injuries common to car crash victims. At this point, his office staff, doctors, and patient flow are all geared towards getting people out of pain financially as well as physically.
