Hi! Thank you for stopping by to learn about Get Me Goings. I know the name is weird but it fits when you realize my last name is Goings. I am Troy Goings, the owner of Get Me Goings Medical Massage Center, and I created this sports and medical massage center from the viewpoints of a consumer. For 20 years I have been in the massage industry and I noticed that massages became boring to me. I didn’t feel like I was making a difference. And as a consumer, when I would patron a massage clinic and ask for attention to my problem areas, it seemed to have not gotten the attention I wanted. I also felt it weird that I had to get undressed for a stranger and have candles on with soft music. Like are we dating now?? So one day I decided to try something different! I cranked up the Metallica, blew out the candles and turned the lights up! I decided to listen to the patient and focus on the specific area in an upbeat atmosphere. I doubled my business in less than a year and so GMG was born!Troy Goings opened Get Me Goings in January of 2018. But it didn’t start there. The journey began in 2003, when he graduated from a two-year rigorous Massage school. He began to work at Massage Envy and was quickly one of the popular therapists there. However, Troy didn’t feel like he was making enough of an impact. He wanted more. He furthered his studies by returning to college to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine. He then obtained a position at a prominent chiropractic office and established himself there for the next 10 years. During this time Troy created a unique approach to “massage” and took out everything he didn’t like about it and turned it into something different. In his treatment room at the chiropractor’s office you could here Metallica and gangster rap. He kept the music loud and the lights on. He quickly became very popular, so popular that Troy decided to take his idea and talent and establish his own practice. And Get Me Goings was born.
