Dr. Johnson received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in 2018, along with two bachelor's degrees in Anatomy and Health and Wellness Systems Management. Additionally, he has completed extensive training and earned his certification in functional medicine through Functional Medicine University.The Functional Medicine Center of Albuquerque was founded by Dr. Vernon Redd who began practice in 1979 and has been in Albuquerque since 1981. Although a chiropractic physician, his passion and interest has always been in the areas of clinical nutrition and functional medicine. This office has been a pillar in the Albuquerque community for over four decades and has helped countless thousands of people achieve greater health and wellness not otherwise possible through more mainstream methods. Since 2023 Dr. Alex Johnson has taken over the practice and it was renamed Functional Medicine Center of Albuquerque.
